How does distortion work and occur in video synthesis? I’m also a bit confused about the difference of saturation and distortion in video.

Saturation normally refers to color saturation. Distortion could be extreme contrast (gain) to the point of only having white and black and nothing in between. It out could refer to composite video distortion, which could be anything from sync disruption which would cause the image to stretch and warp horizontally, or colour distortion which is the colour being shifted, or any other number of things.

Thanks for the reply! I was suspecting something related to contrast but couldn’t be sure so it troubled me.
