Cadet III output question

If I wanted to use the Cadet III video input in a feedback patch how could that work? Would I send the camera in, then composite out to the monitor it’s pointed at, and then take the luma out and convert it to video out elsewhere in the system? Would that work in terms of staying synced with the screen I use to monitor the final output?

it depends on what kind of loop you want to make.

one possibility would be :
RGB encoder out1 ->monitor
camera on monitor -> video input -> some patch -> RGB encoder input
RGB encoder out2 = final output (recording device / video mixer etc)

It is also possible to have more than one RGB encoders

There should be no problem with sync.
The video input takes composite as input and only uses the luma info. So no extra conversion is needed
