Settings for Sony alpha7s3 for CRT rescanning

Hey, im working with a visuals designer on a big show coming up in a few days. We ran a lot of his footage through my synth system, captured the pal stream on my hackingtosh, and he is now working on rescanning it all on a CRT, using a sony a7s3 camera, but he has trouble finding a setting that looks good in the camera. End result will go to a 10x6 screen on a festival stage.
Any recommandations from similar or roughly similar cameras most welcome!

It a bit urgent. Im not there myself since im on another production.

Thanks!

Have you seen this post? Severe aliasing when capturing video synth images with a digital camera

Thanks, saw the post, but didnt have time for watching videos (while building and programming LED screens and all AV infrastructure on another festival stage.) The post is mostly about capturing stills, but the video links might have something for next time😀
I heard back from the visuals designer, that he managed to get som decent rescans, but with imperfections. So he opted to use the captures for some segments of the show and the rescans for other. Have not seen any of it. Promise ill send a video of some of the results on screen…when im on the other side…

Thanks!

Sounds thin I know - However, iPhone cameras are really great at capturing crt screens. I’m not sure if the resolution will be high enough for a larger format screen projection.

I found that changing the settings on a video camera to night time mode helped with crt capture as well.

To piggy back off this - I use the Filmic Pro app which lets you adjust lots of bits and bobs, great app
