TBC2: blank screen or no video after firmware

TBC2 only. Other Gen3 modules use different update paths.

Blank OLED (failed flash or after reset)

  1. FAT32 microSD ≤16 GB.
  2. TBC2 downloads: unzip latest firmware, copy BOOT.bin to the card root.
  3. Power off, insert card, hold Boot from SD (top button on rear PCB), power on, release after boot.
  4. System → Update Firmware → Confirm, then power-cycle.

If the OLED stays blank, repeat the boot-from-SD power-up a few times before emailing support.

No picture after a successful update

Power-cycle. Check sync wiring: ESG3 rear sync out → TBC2 rear sync in → rest of chain (TBC2 manual). If flash was interrupted, repeat the BOOT.bin procedure above.
