Hi all. I am a newbie with the double vision. If i want to mix a couple of oscillator from the dw03 can i and how do i do this with the system please.
Im trying to follow the 3 patches youtube.
Its a steep learning curve and not many resources. Loving it though.
Try taking the outs of the DWO3 and mixing them with the inputs of one of the DSG channels. Start by setting the range of first channel of the DWO3 to the counterclockwise-most position (H) Then set the range of oscillator 2 to the position in the upper left corner (V). Mix those in the DSG3, and then maybe stairs, ribbons, etc.

The paradigm of video oscillator and shape mixing can be a little oblique until things grok.
Unlike a audio or video mixer where most actions are additive in nature, I feel like video oscillator mixing is more multiplicative. You are essentially turning the whole screen on and off at a time interval and it’s only when you get to multipliers if the screen refresh that it starts to make lines and shapes. Though I guess the same could be said of modulation into audio rate for audio oscillators.
A lot of stuff doesn’t work like you might expect but that’s part of what makes it exciting. This probably wasn’t a useful reply, sorry.
